I wrote this one back in mid December, and at long last it has finally been published in The National Post. Thanks to certain news events it was pushed back. Basically, a start up company in Ryerson’s Digital Media Zone called DanTeb Enterprises is distributing mobile device charging stations to the PATH network (Toronto’s underground mall, the biggest such mall in the world). Smartphone batteries aren’t keeping up with the current technology and many people (myself included) know what it’s like to have a dead phone and no access to a charge anywhere. These stations could provide a much needed and appreciated service to the many thousands of people using the PATH everyday. Read all about it in The National Post.
