Big Top on the Long Weekend Waterfront

This weekend there was no shortage of stuff to keep you entertained in the city, especially if you happened to be a kid. For the 11th year in a row, the HarbourKIDS festival brought a merry band of big top performers, vaudevillians, and buskers to the waterfront for a weekend long celebration. I got to interview a few quirky characters backstage and gained a little bit of insight into what its like to run away and join a circus. It may not be for everyone. Fore example, if you have a fear of heights I really would not recommend it. But if you like entertaining youngsters, dressing in a crazy get-up, and painting your face, a life in the circus might be for you!
