Where Self Esteem Comes From

Self esteem is a mysterious thing. Some people have it, others don’t, and scientists where never really sure where it came from. Until now, that is. New research from Dartmouth College discovered that activity within a specific region of the brain correspond with greater levels of self esteem. The scientists hope this finding will lead us to develop new ways of training the brain to learn self esteem, and retain it in the long term.
